(Twelve Monkeys) (1995)

Year 2035. After the scourge of a virus that devastates the Earth killing millions of people, the survivors take refuge in subterranean, humid and cold communities. Prisoner James Cole 'volunteers' to travel back in time and get a sample of the virus, thanks to which scientists can develop a remedy. During the trip he meets a beautiful psychiatrist and an exceptional mental patient. Cole will try to find the 'Army of the Twelve Monkeys', a radical group linked to the disease.
